What a shitty policy change… The issue is that they overbook their flights; however, they and every airline don’t want to fix the source of the issue. They do some bullshit policy change to make the general public feel better about it but it doesn’t change the root of the problem. How are airlines going to overbook their flights when they already collected the money from the passenger? Who cares if the seat is vacate when it takes flight? If there is 200 seats on a flight, the airline should only be allowed to sell 200 tickets. It’s as simple as that.
